I was honored to stand with Gov. Janet Mills at a signing for my legislation LD 2103 An Act Requiring Hospitals to Adopt Cyber Security Plans. This law was created in response to the cyberattacks on Lewiston’s hospitals in the spring of 2025. This legislation enacts safeguards for cybersecurity and will ultimately protect Mainers’ health.

It is undeniable that without a foundation of education, shelter, and health, too many Mainers are struggling to get ahead or even stay afloat. I believe government can and must do more to help Mainers thrive.

To drive down costs for everyday Mainers, we must do more to level the playing field— this means increasing the housing supply, creating more educational pathways for workforce development, and enhancing access to healthcare.

It is with immense humility that I ask for your trust and vote in this upcoming election on November 3rd. Just as it was an honor to learn each students’ story in my classroom, it is an honor to learn about each of my constituents’ stories - your triumphs and struggles.
